DeckEX Terms of Service

01Agreement and eligibility

By accessing DeckEX, a person agrees to these Terms where legally capable. A parent or legal guardian accepts the applicable terms and provides legally necessary authorization for a child. Access can be limited by local law and successful age/guardian verification. The operator may deny or restrict access when it cannot lawfully provide a feature in the user's country.

02What DeckEX offers

DeckEX is an all-ages Pokémon card collection product offered on the web, iOS, and Android. Users younger than 18 have protected collection accounts. Their approved public profiles can display a chosen username, chosen profile image, publicly selected cards, wishlists and collection statistics. Other users can view these pages but cannot message, follow, like, comment on, mention, tag, friend-request, offer to trade with, or otherwise contact a protected account within DeckEX. Protected accounts cannot publish social posts, send messages or use adult marketplace features. No adult or parent exception creates minor messaging access.

DeckEX allows card collection organization, wishlists and public display of permitted collection content. Adult accounts may access adult-only public posts, private messages and listings. Features may change following notice required by law.

03Protected accounts

Users younger than 18 cannot send or receive direct messages or group messages, send or receive follower or friend interactions, comment, like, publish social posts, create listings, make offers, or arrange trades through DeckEX. Users must not attempt to circumvent these restrictions through usernames, images, listings, hyperlinks or other platform features.

04Accounts and security

Give accurate age information, protect sign-in credentials and report unauthorized account access promptly. Do not impersonate a guardian or adult or share access to bypass age rules. We may restrict accounts pending verification of age, authority or suspected misuse.

05User content and licenses

Users retain rights to content they own. By uploading permitted content they grant DeckEX a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license during the lawful period of use to host, resize, display, transmit and moderate it solely to operate and promote its availability within the requested DeckEX features. Publicly shared content can be viewed and copied by others outside DeckEX's control. Users warrant they have the rights necessary for uploaded content. Rights belonging to Pokémon and other third parties remain with their respective owners.

06Prohibited conduct

No illegal content; child exploitation; sexual solicitation; harassment; impersonation; threats; counterfeit representation; fraudulent listings; doxxing; unauthorized scraping; spam; infringement; malicious code; or attempts to defeat access restrictions. Never upload sexual material involving minors. Report suspected exploitation and other urgent harm using Help and Safety.

07Adults-only listings and meetups

Adult listings and in-person meetups are communications among independent adult users. DeckEX does not inspect listed items or guarantee card condition, authenticity, seller identity, personal safety or completion of an adult arrangement. Users remain responsible for assessing listings and following applicable law. These limitations do not exclude nonwaivable statutory rights or excuse DeckEX's own misconduct.

08Moderation, suspension and reports

DeckEX can reject content, investigate reports, suspend access or close accounts for reasonable safety, legal or Terms violations. Where appropriate and legally required, users may contest actions through Help and Safety. Reports made in good faith are encouraged; malicious or knowingly false reports are prohibited.

09Disclaimer and limits

Card identification, market data, collection statistics and user-supplied descriptions may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. Use appropriate independent checks. DeckEX is supplied with reasonable care as required by applicable law; no statement here eliminates warranties, remedies or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability allocation and dispute procedures are subject to the mandatory law of the user's jurisdiction.

10Ending an account

Users can delete accounts through settings and the online deletion route. Parents have any rights provided by applicable law to revoke authorization and request deletion. Removal of an account does not automatically cancel valid legal preservation obligations.

11Notices and contact

Users and parents can submit privacy, safety, account and copyright requests through DeckEX Help and Safety in the app or on the website. The same channel accepts account-deletion requests and requests to appeal an enforcement action. Urgent reports should be marked Child Safety or Immediate Danger. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

If a provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue where lawful. Terms changes that materially affect user rights receive appropriate notice and, where required, fresh consent.
